statement of diversity and inclusion

The American Society for Environmental History is committed in principle and action to treating everyone with respect and dignity regardless of age, gender expression, race, indigeneity, ethnicity, nation of origin, physical and sensory abilities, sexual orientation, religion, neurodiversity, disciplinary background, and employment. ASEH promotes diversity to foster greater inclusion within the historical profession and related fields, among our membership, and in our scholarship. This commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion strengthens our scholarship, our society, and our communities. To this end, the ASEH embraces all who wish to join, participate, and have a voice in the Society.
