Opening Reception
This reception kicks off the Annual Conference and provides an opportunity
for attendees to catch up with old friends and meet friends. A great way for
returning attendees and first-time attendees to connect.
Mentor/Mentee Matching
After a successful launch in 2025, ASEH plans to bring this program back at
this year’s Annual Conference. This program matches mentors with mentees and provides the opportunity for participants to meet up one-on-one over a coffee and a snack.
Presidential Sessions
The ASEH President curates two highly anticipated panels at the Annual
Conference. This year’s panels will be organized by Jay Turner, the William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Environmental Studies at Wellesley College. Session content will be determined by the ASEH President. Please check with ASEH for content Information.

Retirees Reception
This reception is an opportunity to thank individuals who have contributed to
ASEH and the field of Environmental History over the years. Their
contributions laid the ground for much of today’s scholarship.

Several coffee networking breaks will be held throughout the three-day
annual conference in the exhibit area. Help attendees recharge between
sessions and mingle with other conference attendees and exhibitors.
Awards Ceremony and Reception
ASEH celebrates grant recipients and members who have made unparalleled

Closing Reception
