Event Description
Earth Futures Artathon – Earth Week 2026 On April 24, 2026, the University of Memphis will host the ‘Earth Futures Artathon’ in the Johnson Hall Atrium as part of Earth Day week. This public event celebrates the intersection of art, environmental science, and community engagement through an exhibition of original works reflecting on environmental futures, sustainability, and human relationships with the Earth. The Artathon includes participation from university students, local artists, interdisciplinary practitioners, and members of the public. The exhibition will also coincide with educational activities for public school students, creating opportunities for dialogue between artists, scientists, students, and the broader Memphis community.
